Seeking creative freedom, Alimori is the pseudonym used by Mischa Blanos to shape new electronic territories for his compositions, be it progressive clubbing or ambient music. Born from the need to separate his acoustic-electronic music framed in the Neoclassical genre from other exploring genres, Alimori serves the artist in his endeavour to expand his travel on the pure electronic realm. He abandons the acoustic piano but transfers its soul by manipulating the machines as if they were acoustic instruments and infusing elusive yet deeply rooted classical structures. Back and forth through synths, drum machines, modulars and digital inputs, Alimori is set to voice out his appetite for jazz-driven techno club pieces and his attraction in creating sonic spheres of ambient music.

In choosing his alias, he was inspired by an old Romanian tradition, where Alimori is the ritual celebration of the living fire. All across the villages, wheels of fire were burned and pushed downhill as to announce people to join and praise the arrival of the spring. Hollers and dancers were crushing the soil with their wild dances to liberate the heat and the new season to come.
